Operating on donations from businesses, civic organizations, and individuals, the Foundation is a careful steward of all monies raised and works closely with LISD to ensure that funds are distributed where they’re needed most.

Levels of Giving

Endowment Gifts

Supports scholarships, teachers grants, fellowships and awards of excellence. Endowments can be full or term. Learn how to start an LEF scholarship, grant, or award fund.
Employee Giving

Donations from LISD employees and staff. Donate online or sign up for payroll deductions. 50% of all undesignated monthly payroll deductions returns to your campus the following year!
Changing Children’s Lives Award

Honor LISD educators whose work changes children’s lives by donating in their name. LEF will send an award to that educator acknowledging your donation and passing on your kind words.
Corporate Sponsorship

Join LEF's Corporate Leadership Society to receive annual recognition at events and special programs. individual sponsorship opportunities for specific events are also available.
Matching Gifts

Dollar for dollar match of monetary donation, most often available through large corporations, with an opportunity for donors to increase the impact of their gift.
In-Kind Gifts

Contributions of goods and services that are of value to LEF.
Planned Giving

An investment option that bequeaths money/assets at a designated time.
Memorial Donations

Gifts made to honor a loved one are a special way to capture the legacy of a distinguished community member. If you wish to donate to an already established Memorial Fund or wish to donate in honor of someone you love, visit our Memorials page.

The Foundation has been designated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by the IRS. Donations made to the foundation are tax deductible as defined by the IRS Revenue Code.
