From LISD to SMU to New York City, 2019 The Colony High School graduate and LEF scholarship recipient Simone Melvin found that the support of the people around consistently left a mark on her. Five years after graduating from LISD, she reflects on the countless educators and community members who encouraged her to pursue knowledge and become a well-rounded individual.
The Lewisville ISD Education Foundation (LEF) is proud to announce the awarding of 64 teacher grants totaling $96,700. These grants, ranging from $300 to $2,500, will fund innovative projects that provide new educational opportunities for K-12 students across the Lewisville Independent School District (LISD).
The Lewisville ISD Education Foundation (LEF) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Bill Lee as its new Executive Director. Lee, a distinguished leader with over three decades of experience in industry, education, and consulting, becomes the fourth Executive Director in LEF’s history since its inception in 1990. His diverse background positions him to bring fresh energy and vision to LEF's mission.
