The Lewisville ISD Education Foundation (LEF) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Bill Lee as its new Executive Director. Lee, a distinguished leader with over three decades of experience in industry, education, and consulting, becomes the fourth Executive Director in LEF’s history since its inception in 1990.
Bill Lee brings a unique blend of expertise in operations management, marketing, strategic planning, fundraising, and organizational leadership to his new role. A summa cum laude graduate of Texas A&M University Commerce with a degree in Organizational Leadership, Lee’s career has been marked by innovation and success across multiple sectors.
Lee began his career as Vice President of one of the largest cellular companies in the U.S., later founding a media company that specialized in training and media-based marketing for the Mobile Communications Industry. He went on to co-found a groundbreaking lead generation marketing concept for home builders, which quickly expanded to fourteen markets nationwide and became an invaluable resource. His success continued with the development of a network promoting physicians, clinics, and hospitals through television programs, social media, and SEO, growing it into the largest medical video library in the U.S.
Following a brief retirement, Lee joined the Lewisville Independent School District as Director of Marketing, where he led numerous successful digital media campaigns, including the award-winning “Best Schools in Texas” initiative. His marketing strategies have consistently driven revenue and engagement, solidifying his reputation as a visionary leader.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Lee is deeply rooted in the Lewisville community. For the past 15 years, he has served as "The Voice of LISD’s Marcus Marauders," passionately announcing Friday night football games. Lee and his wife, Lila, enjoy camping and spending quality time with their family, which includes their four sons, all graduates of LISD, and their four grandchildren.
As the new Executive Director of LEF, Bill Lee is poised to bring fresh energy and vision to the Foundation’s mission of supporting student scholarships, teacher grants, and other education enrichment programs within Lewisville ISD. His leadership promises to enhance the Foundation’s impact, ensuring that it continues to be a vital resource for the local education community.
