Morningside Elementary School is the feeder school for children with varying disabilities. There are currently 6 children at the school who use mobility devices to get around and yet the playground surface is inaccessible. The mulch ground covering makes it quite difficult to nearly impossible for a wheelchair or any mobility device to navigate. This means there are 6 children who sit on the sidelines while their peers engage in play during recess. This needs to change and you can help!

We are raising funds to remove the mulch and replace the ground covering with turf or rubber which will make the whole playground accessible to EVERY child at Morningside. Any donation will get us closer to our goal of creating an inclusive playground at school which does not leave any child on the outside looking in.
