Timothy Grange Memorial Scholarship
A memorial scholarship has been set up to honor the memory of Timothy Grange, a TCHS Alumni band member who passed away in February of 2017. Tim was a member of the first group of band students at Griffin Middle School. He graduated in TCHS’s first graduation class in 1988. An All-State, First Chair Trumpet, his talent was well known throughout Texas.
Tim continued his music career at UNT, graduating with a degree in music education and marching with the Blue Devils during the summer. His professional career included serving as band director at several high schools in the Houston area and most recently, in Del Rio, Texas.
The Alumni Band students from The Colony High School are honored to establish this scholarship in Tim’s name.
