Former Mayor Rudy Durham passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 25, 2023. The lifelong Lewisville resident graduated from Lewisville High School in 1974 and was a member of the LHS Hall of Fame. He served on City Council for 21 years before becoming Mayor in 2015. He served as Mayor until 2021.
